The history of New Beginnings Temple of Praise Inc., and our faith to press forward in the ministry of preaching the gospel to all. Our zeal to continue building our future home and the faith to know that God will continue to provide all of our needs in this mission.
The Late Founder Bishop John McRae
The late Bishop McRae began the beautiful journey of establishing New Beginnings Temple of Praise Inc. in 2006. Through guidance of the Lord he began the task with Rev. Byron Day Sr. of raising funds in 2007 to build a Church home for our christian ministries. He went home to be with the Lord on August 2007 and the Deacon Shirley A.Tisdale answered the call to Pastor.
The Late Bishop Shirley A. Tisdale -Walker
The Late Bishop Walker continued the mission of N.B.T.O.P. with Rev. Day by filing the articles of incorporation with the state of Maryland in 2008. She continued preaching the Gospel, providing clothing, food, and school supplies just to name a few. Bishop Walker pressed forward with faith on the task of raising donations to have our church home built. On September 30, 2016 she was called home to be with the Lord.
Future Church Building / Land Fundraiser
As our leaders before us we continue to stay focused on God's ministry to preach the Gospel. Provide clothing, infant supplies, school supplies, and assistance for the homeless. Moving forward with our ministries requires a building where we can better serve the community. We have a building and land goal of $20,000. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us meet our goal.
